Bridgewater's ministries are not confined to the walls of our campus buildings. We seek to make an impact in the world through strategic partnerships with people and organizations that help make more and better disciples of Jesus Christ. Partnering with Hope for Korah, Jake ministers to the over 130,000 people in the largest slum in Korah, Ethiopia which is located outside Addis Ababa. They provide families with rent supplement, healthy food, health care, literacy & numeracy classes for adults, tutoring & school supplies for the children, Bible studies and income generation program to help them become financially self-sustaining, eventually graduating out of the program. Jake has a passion for discipling young men as he teaches soccer Bible studies and meets with 15-21 year old men for weekly discipleship meetings.
C2C PARTNERSHIP WITH FOOD FOR THE HUNGRY IN CAMBALAM AND XEPIUN, GUATEMALA
They walk with church leaders and families in overcoming educational, physical (health), financial, and spiritual poverty. FH seeks to walk with churches, leaders and families in overcoming all forms of human poverty by living in healthy relationship with God and His creation.
CARENET OF NEPA
Specializes in providing education, practical resources and caring support in a safe setting. They desire to help anyone that may be experiencing an unplanned pregnancy, related issues, or is in need of parenting training. Carenet helps individuals make informed decisions so they can look to the future with confidence. Carenet has local offices in Montrose and Tunkhannock.
JEFF & DEANNE DAVOLL, EQUADOR
Partnering with Ecuadorian believers through evangelism, discipleship & leadership training to work toward establishing a national church planting movement. Jeff and Deanne serve in Ecuador at La Iglesia Bautista La Conexion a La Esperanza. Their focus is on evangelism, discipleship and leadership training.
STEVE & DEBBIE DOUGLAS, AREQUIPA, PERU
Assisting missionaries and national leaders in Central and South America in planting churches. Steve and Debi are based in Arequipa, but travel often as Steve is a regional administrator currently working in 6 fields: Columbia, Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Paraguay, and Argentina with plans to expand into more countries.
TIM AND JACKI FAULKNER, NAPLES, ITALY
Assisting a church plant and coaching Italian church leaders in ministry.
INDEPENDENT GOSPEL BAPTIST CHURCHES, CHANGANACHERRY, INDIA
There are three national pastors who work under Shibu Simon, IGBC, in India: Jinoy Baby, Baju Abraham, and Abby Thomas. They are involved in rural church planting in India through Indian pastors. They are involved in church planting in 6 different states. The pastors come together once a month for fellowship and training. A couple of the churches are self supporting but since they minister to the lower class of people, the ministry subsidizes the pastor’s salary either in part or completely.
LIFE CHOICES CENTER, BINGHAMTON, NY
Helping people before, during and after an unplanned pregnancy through free and confidential Christian pregnancy counseling, including free pregnancy tests and referrals for free ultrasound exams with local physicians.
PHIL & DEBBIE MELTON, GIFU, JAPAN
Running a discipling and evangelistic camp ministry that also houses three churches. Their desire is to help indigenous churches reach their communities for Christ.
DR. ALAIN & KATHERINE NILES
Surgeon and founders of Hospital of Hope in Togo West Africa. Since 2015 hospital has seen over 16,000 patients and 1,000+ surgeries annually in a region of Togo with very little medical care. Alain and Katherine are committed to meeting patients' physical, emotional and spiritual needs and connects them with chaplains, missionaries, and local national pastors to help them through their greatest times of need.
Partnering with Bethesda Orphanage in South Africa showing compassion to children who had been orphaned as a result of HIV/AIDS. Her ministry seeks to nurture and train the children until they can be placed with loving Christian couples.
KRISTI WALKER, BERLIN, GERMANY
Kristi serves as Director of Student Ministries at Crossway International Baptist Church. The church aims to present Christ to the next generation in Berlin, Germany.
