Personal Background

We are a family of six.  We all love people and have a house-full lots of the time!  We treasure family time - mostly hanging out together on our land with our animals.

Brett - Age 38.  Loves to hunt and fish.  Enjoys all sports and loves his cows!  A day off includes cutting down trees, stacking wood, or building something.

My father was a Pastor, and so I grew up going to church all of the time.  We had 5-day Clubs in our back yard each year, and in 1976 an intern from our church was leading the club and shared the gospel.  My father came home and took me fishing to talk about how I could ask Jesus to save me.  I prayed to receive Christ in our green Vega.  As I matured, I was struck with the reality that God could and was using me to accomplish His purposed.  I was amazed, as a teenager, to see God use me and desired to be better prepared to serve Him.  I headed to school to be trained for pastoral ministry.

Nicole - Age 34.  Loves family time!  Enjoys cooking and baking.

My family began attending a Bible church after dissatisfaction with the Russian Orthodox religion.  I attended Vacation Bible School when I was five years old, and it is there that the Lord saved me.  I was baptized when I was eleven.  I have graduated from Baptist Bible College with a degree in elementary education.  I am so thankful for God's grace in my life, and with His help I seek to encourage my husband and support him in ministry.  I love being a stay-at-home wife and mother.

Avenlea - Age 11.  Loves school, reading, and music!  Plays the keyboard and is learning the guitar.

Eric - Age 9.  Loves home!  "Can we just stay home today?"  He loves sports, feeding the cows, and working on projects with Dad.

Annika - Age 5.  Loves her sister and brothers!  Smiles all the time.  Definitely looking forward to kindergarten!

James - Age 4.  Loves working with Eric and Dad.  Anything to build or fix makes him happy.

I recently served the Lord as a pastor in a church committed to the Word of God and its power to change lives.  I have a passion for outreach and discipleship.
